Christian Fellowship

The Servetus Society is the name of UUCF's Christian Group, which is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship. Michael Servetus (1509-1553), was a Unitarian “saint,” who was martyred for questioning Trinitarian Christianity. Servetus' tragic death emboldened others to question entrenched religious authorities and increased calls for religious tolerance. The Servetus Society is an opportunity to focus on the Fourth Source of Unitarian Universalism, "Jewish and Christian teachings which call us to respond to God's love by loving our neighbors as ourselves."

All are welcome to join the Servetus Society on the 1st Sunday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel for progressive Christian worship that follows the seasons of the Christian liturgical year:

  • November: All Saints
  • December: Advent-Christmas
  • January: Epiphany
  • February: Candlemas
  • March: Lent
  • April: Easter
  • May: Pentecost
  • June - October: Ordinary Time

Communion is offered at each service.
